Spice Up Your Summer with Seafood From the Beaumont Inn

When it comes to summer, there’s nothing better than a delicious seafood dinner. From crab and lobster to oysters and shrimp, it’s the staple of the season. It’s even better when you don’t have to prepare it yourself. The Beaumont Inn is here to make your summer amazing with these seafood favorites!

Chef’s Lobster Bisque

Start your meal off with a hearty lobster bisque! As the most popular type of bisque, this soup was first created by the French sometime in the 17th century. It’s typically a rich, creamy soup with many bold and fiery flavors. Based on the way that bisque is made, by first preparing the shellfish and then simmering the broth for a long time, these flavors are able to reach its maximum potential. Traditional ingredients include:

  • Lobster
  • Rice
  • White wine
  • Cognac
  • Stock
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Onion
  • Celery
  • Carrots
  • Bouquet garni
  • Salt and pepper

Sautéed Calamari

Italian for squid, calamari originated in the Mediterranean and became popular in the U.S. in the 1970s. Our sautéed calamari is prepared with bread crumbs, toasted garlic, Italian parsley, and fresh lemon and is the perfect fresh start to any meal.

Steamed Clams

People have been consuming clams for thousands of years and we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Another great appetizer, our littleneck clams are served with garlic and a unique white wine sauce.

Pan Seared Scallops

Eaten all over the world in many different ways, we have to say our favorite way is our own. After searing the scallops to perfection, they are served over a fresh roasted carrot puree, accompanied by caramelized pearl onions and sweet peas.

Crab and Avocado

This sandwich is bursting with flavor, starting off with jumbo lump crab tossed in mint-infused olive oil. After placing the crab on a toasted brioche bun, it is topped with an avocado mousse and finished with a tomato relish.

Crab and Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich

A few steps up from your traditional grilled cheese, this culinary masterpiece features lump crab, sharp cheddar cheese, and applewood smoked bacon. After being basted with Chesapeake sauce, these ingredients are placed on fresh slices of country white bread and served with Old Bay seasoned fries.

Crab Cakes

A popular type of fish cakes is crab cakes. Served as a pair, these crabby creations are created with a generous amount of lump crab, along with other tasty ingredients and come with housemade gherkin and caper tartar sauce.

Royal Tide Salmon

If you’re not in the mood for shellfish and instead, want a traditional fish meal packed full of protein, look no further than our incredible royal tide salmon. Sourdough pretzel crusted, this dish is broiled to perfection and drizzled with a maple dijon glaze before serving.
