Let Creativity Month Guide Your Wedding Themes

January is creativity month and in a world of white roses and happily ever after wedding themes, make your special day one you and your guest won’t soon forget.

We searched the internet for the trending wedding themes of 2020 and put our favorites here. So while you’re thinking color schemes, centerpieces, and bridesmaid dresses, we can be planning for your big day at The Beaumont Inn.

Going Green

It’s 2020 and we’re all about being eco-friendly. With DIY weddings being an affordable way to make your day unique, many couples saying “I Do” will be opting in for upcycled items and zero waste tactics for their day.

How can you go green while still looking great in white? When you have a Beaumont Inn wedding, we’re all about farm-to-table so your meal will be locally sourced every way we can.

Mysticism

Healing crystals and sage are all the rage when it comes to mystic practices. We aren’t talking a Halloween-witchy wedding day (though we love a good costume!). With more of a focus on spirituality, couples will be incorporating crystals, sageing, and palo santo into their wedding day.

Love the idea but don’t know where to start? Consider giving rose quartz crystals–the stone of love–as your wedding favors.

Thoughtful Dining

According to a 2018 Gallup poll, 5% of adults in the United States consider themselves to be vegetarian. When creating your wedding day menu, you may have a variety of dietary needs of your own or your guest that you need to account for. More couples are creating inclusive menus for their big day so guests will not only be filled with love but have a full tummy, too.

Statement Decor

There’s no denying that weddings can be expensive. That’s why many couples in 2020 are scaling back elaborate centerpieces and flashing venue decor for simplistic designs with a statement decoration to tie it all together.

Maybe as a couple, you enjoy playing board games–make a sweet station themed after Candy Land. Or perhaps you’ve got a nerdy side to you. You may want to use some of your wedding decor budget to incorporate lightsabers and magical elements into your aesthetic.

Get Lit with Lighting

Some killer lighting is sure to make your wedding reception traverse themes. So if you want some mood lighting, why not candles and lanterns with string lights to add a magical glow? Want to go bold? Try tube lighting, LED signs and hanging lights to make a statement.
